Taking PC back to PC World

Anyone tried to take a PC back to PC world? I'm not talking faulty equipment, but just because it's not wanted (it turns out to be a load of rubbish).
On the receipt it says you can bring it back if you change your mind, but it must be in the original, unopened, sealed packaging! That's one hell of a restriction.

I guess it's for unwanted presents.
The "bring it back" statement is a goodwill gesture for customers, above legal requirements.
If the item is faulty or mis-described, then that's a different thing.0 -
They have to be able to re-sell the item. An opened PC most likely won't. There's also data protection concerns they'll want to avoid.
Your chances are slim, I'd think.0 -
