Group holiday booking

I have a complicated question (sorry). I am booking a golf holiday for a group of friends. This involves booking the flights and hotel/golf separately. I have booked the flights with BA so happy with that part. Now the complicated part. The booking for the hotel and golf is through an agent based in Spain. I am OK with paying in Euros as it saves money but the question is, which is the best way to do this? I am thinking pay with a credit card so I am covered under Section 75. I know I will get charged an extra charge and the conversion rate may be slightly lower than other places but I feel it gives me some cover. If I credit my credit card account then pay the bill will I still be covered even though I am not using "credit"
Any help would be very appreciated.

S75 excludes agents, you’d get it booking direct with the hotel.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Also s75 covers your money paid only, not your friends.0
