Hi, my husband and I are looking to stay in either a naturist hotel or in a hotel close to a naturist beach in either Fuerteventura or Lanzarote and we were hoping someone would be able to recommend somewhere please?

I believe one of the Papagayo beaches in Lanzarote allows naturist bathing. The Sandos Papagayo hotel would be the closest which is around 15 minutes walk over a headland to access. There are other hotels in the same area.
A question on the Lanzarote Trip Advisor Forum would provide better advice that I can offer.0 -
Just pretend youre German.
Then you can use any beach.0 -
Lanzarote: there are numerous clothes optional beaches in Lanzarote. A search on Trip Advisor would probably work best.
Many years ago, we stayed in Playa Blanca when it was the typical fishing village. We spent Christmas and NYE with the villagers. The Papagayo beaches were fabulous and almost empty and we spent a fortnight naked. That was in the 1980s and the fishing village has long been overtaken by development, but the beaches are still there.
Fuerteventura: AIUI there are no nude beaches in Fuerteventura. They are all clothing optional, though you may feel uncomfortable in front of the hotels, so you may need to walk/drive a bit.
Take a look at the Naturism section of https://www.fuerteventura-forum.com for more discussion.0 -

I haven't been to Fuerteventura for a while. My ex-wife liked an all over tan and nudity was the norm on the Jandia beaches south of Costa Calma, although encroaching development over the last few years may have changed that.0 -
In Fuertaventura, stay at the Club Hotel Riu Oliva Beach Resort.
This is not a Naturist hotel.
There is a beach to the right(looking towards the sea) of the hotel. Walk along towards the sand dunes and there will be lots of naturists.
Just found this Naturist hotel, north of the Riu one.

The Gran Hotel Natura is very good, you walk directly out the back onto the designated naturist area . The rooms are basic but fine, a small kitchenette for self catering but there is also a restaurant on site if you prefer. The local town Corralejo is a couple of miles away and walkable, or about 4 euro in a cab.
Lanazarote is naturist friendly , but the naturist town is pretty dead frankly and has no beach and very little to do.

The Olivia Beach near the naturist beach is rather isolated from Corralejo, there are no evening walk out places nearby, unless there have been developments in recent years.
Better in my opinion to stay in the town and take a bus out to the dunes each day you feel the birthday suit sun worship coming on.0 -
This is all great info I shall start looking online, many thanks to everyone who has replied0

I would take a beach shelter - strong winds are common on Fuerteventura , and the dunes offer little protection from their sand blasting effects.0
