Hello all
I have a question in regards to Current Joint accounts
I have a current joint account with no overdraft facility that i would like to remove my name from.
I had this account with my ex but now we are going through a split so am even moving out and i would like to remove my name from our Join current account ( no overdraft facility) account is held with LLoyds
Does anyone know the process?
She can have the money i do not care i just need to stop being a joint account holder.
Any help please

From the Lloyds website:
Removing someone from your account
If you’d like to remove someone from your joint account you can let us know:
by going to your local branch
No appointment is necessary, unless a new overdraft facility is needed after the account has been converted to a sole account.0 -
If she's happy to come in with you and have you removed from the account then there shouldn't be a problem.
However if she's uncooperative you might find it easier to close the account than to have your name removed from it. I have managed to do this in the past without the co-operation of the other party.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0
