Clydesdale SAR Letter

I made a successful PPI claim with the Clydesdale Bank in 2016. I submitted a SAR letter in December 2015 to gain evidence for my claim.
This week (11 Jan 2018) I have received a letter from Clydesdale Bank in relation to my 2015 SAR stating:

"We've now realised that we may not have provided you with all the information you were entitled to receive. This is because, since replying to your DSAR, we've identified other systems we could have checked, and these mat have provided additional information we could have given you. Depending on the nature of your original request, this information may include, but not limited to, statements, copies of letters previously issed and notes taken relating to the operation of your account(s)."

There is an option to respond and ask the bank to review the response to my 2015 SAR and provide any additional information which should have been included as part of the original Data Subject Access Request.

Will replying benefit me? Is there a chance new evidence could result in a further PPI payment?

So you've already received a full refund all all PPI paid, plus 8% simple interest and any attendant interest.

    Absolutely not.

Looks like you didn't need a SAR in the first place.

Nice of them to admit their error, however.

You can respond, but don't expect anything useful from them..
