South facing extension, bifold doors or windows?

We are planning a 3.5m x 4m single story extension/orangery (with a lantern roof), and the 4 walls will consist of:
1 x 4m solid wall (facing next doors garden, non party wall)
1 x 3.5m wall linked to house, seperated by Origin bifold doors
1 x 4m side, full width bifolds to garden
The 4th wall/side, that is south facing we originally wanted full sized bifolds, so in the summer could have both new sets of bifolds, opened fully.
However we are worried about loss of heat in the winter from 2 whole sides of glass, and was wondering if it'd be much better for one of the 2 sides to be 1/3 height wall, and full width windows instead?
Any opinions please?
