    If they have never been registered, is it possible that there would not be any record of them being installed.

    Therefore, would it be possible to get a new MCS certificate from a company willing to "check" the system over, record all the model & serial numbers and "complete" the installation now ?

    They may be willing to do that if you were also adding a battery to the system.

    Not if you are playing by the rules, as the majority of the panels would be secondhand breaching the FiT terms. The same would apply if you moved the panels to another property, it wouldn't qualify.

    The sticking point is the panels, but depending on the amount of work, that may be enough to be too much already - cost wise, even with a 'friendly' installer.
