Unregistered Solar PV - FIT

It's hard to see how the scheme organisers could say both "your system is not eligible for FIT" AND "you can't register a new system because you already have one" !
That was my thinking, surely it has to qualify in one way or another. Would even changing one panel be sufficient to register again?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
If they have never been registered, is it possible that there would not be any record of them being installed.
Therefore, would it be possible to get a new MCS certificate from a company willing to "check" the system over, record all the model & serial numbers and "complete" the installation now ?
They may be willing to do that if you were also adding a battery to the system.0 -

Not if you are playing by the rules, as the majority of the panels would be secondhand breaching the FiT terms. The same would apply if you moved the panels to another property, it wouldn't qualify.
The sticking point is the panels, but depending on the amount of work, that may be enough to be too much already - cost wise, even with a 'friendly' installer.Mart.
