Santander PPI

Hello everyone, i'm looking for some advice if possible.
I bank with Santander and tried to reclaim PPI back in 2012, this was refused so I left it at that.
I've just received a letter over the weekend from Santander referring to the rejected claim back in 2012, and they now want to give me £120.85 back against a loan that I had with them where PPI was misold!
The letter states this is their 'final / only offer' and I can take it or leave it basically.
I have had 2 loans from Santander in the past and I am not sure that this refund amount is enough / the right amount?
Should I contact them and ask them if this covers both loans?
Thanks in advance! :)

The refund will be correct. The letter should tell you which loan it relates to. If not, give them a call
  • Thanks for your reply, I think I may have only paid PPI on one of the loans but will check the letter and give them a call

Sounds like a Plevin refund of undisclosed commission.
  • Just a note to anybody who lands on this page... I have just received back £900+ from PPI that I had on a loan some 8 years ago. I dealt direct with Santander, initially filling out the form via the Santander website. Just search for PPI....
They were very helpful, even writing to me after 8 weeks to apologise for the delay in settling my claim. It was settled after 9 weeks!
Just letting you know that it's worth persevering with your claim direct rather than using a claims broker who will charge 30% (but you knew that already...)
    Good luck.
