in Credit cards
Hi All
I am aware you are protected for the whole amount paid if a company goes bust even if you have only paid a deposit using your credit card. Can this be a problem if the bank who has issued the credit card and the bank I have paid the rest of the money using transfer is the same?
To clarify, I have paid a deposit of £4100 for a kitchen costing £17000. The rest I will pay by bank transfer. The bank issuing the credit card and the bank I am paying money from is the same. Can this be a problem or does it not make any difference?
Many Thanks
