    Here are a few places:

eBay (make sure you buy non-store specific coupons not Tesco ones!)
Sampling promotions at Supermarkets (take lots of coupons, not just one... )
Free leaflets in your door with freebie paper
Free leaflets occasionally given out elsewhere (like the recent magazine week ones)
Newspapers & magazines (check the Daily paper thread & MBN's magazines thread which tell you where the coupons are, if a good profit then buy lots of copies)
swapping with other couponers on www.paidtoshop.co.uk (but become an active member first, the info & chat there is great if you like coupons)!

I have to agree 100%. Extremely good advice Coupon Mad

I work for Tescoand our store had it in writing from head office that we do take internet coupons as long as we stock the product with regard to other coupons you can pay for all of your shopping with couponsbut each one must be different unless you are buying the product ,then you can use 1 for evey one of the product purchased. With regar to ss tills they are programmed to ask for approval if the value of the coupons is more than athird of the cost of the shopping. this is the rule being followed at our store ,others may be different

Is your store in Essex/Suffolk? It'd be good to go shopping armed with that type of info

It definitely varies store by store. Our store won't accept any that have been printed off the internet and will only accept other coupons up to 10% of the shopping:(

That's why I usually try my luck at the self scans, but can be embarrassing when they refuse your coupon!

My local self scan takes the folowing

    Up to 29.99% off shopping
Max 3 coupons of which 2 may be the same
    Takes internet coupons no problem
If you only buy 2 items only takes 2 coupons

All done by trial and error.

I used to work at Tesco up until a few months ago. The official policy is:
If you have the product for the voucher, you can use it. If you don't have the products, you can use those vouchers for up to 10% of the total value of the shop.
Though what the staff will do varies depending how they feel. Some will only let a few through, others will let you scan loads.
Only Tesco coupons are linked to the products, smaller coupons from newspapers/product packaging aren't linked, they just have the value put onto the system. This means that the system won't flag anything up, its all up to the till worker.

    HELP

I've just printed some internet coupons (first time). I've only got a black & white printer does that matter as I notice it says do not accept photocopied coupons, will they still accept this.

If any one knows how to make the most out of the internet coupons please let me know, I've had to borrow money from the childrens pocket money so only have £35.00 to spend at Tesco until next Monday.
    Kind Regards

  • Hi there, I print mine on a B&W printer and go through the self service at tesco. I try and get the higher value ones through first.
