Hoping someone can help - when you're self employed and reporting your figures each month, what bits of information does it ask for?
Is it just profit, income tax and NI paid, and pension contributions made?

No, it asks for income and expenses - i think the expenses are broken down into categories and then tax, NI and pension.

You should have received the UC5 Guide for Self-employed UC claimants. In that, it contains the sheet which lists all deductions and what should be reported in each monthly reporting period.
Ask either the UC national contact centre or your local JCP for a copy (it's only 20 pages but is vital info). Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
