Hi there
Is it possible to still do an ‘old fashioned’ switch when the banks move your payments but don’t close the old account?
I want to switch from nationwide to Lloyd’s but want to keep the old nationwide account open.
Thanks

You can request a partial switch, which won't close the account.0

You do realise you've no protection against anything going wrong with a partial switch?
Why not just open a Lloyds account, rather than switch into it, and transfer the payment instructions yourself? That way you're in control...especially important if you're asking for DDs to be switched with a partial switch.0
