AQUA card fraud and account locked - solved

Barclaycard refunded a £18 transaction to my card no questions asked. Even tho I admitted I forgot to report the stolen card for over a week.
I suppose it depends on size of fraud, previous history (made lots of claims or first one) and how desirable you are as a customer, barclaycard told me in "some" cases a declaration form has to be filled out including a crime reference number but I got bypassed on that process.
As I understood it, contactless should only work if the pin has been previously used successfully (never used the card in shops as its a BT card), I asked barclaycard this and apparently they dont need a successful pin to be used before contactless will work. Seems weak to me, but they took responsibility for it so it is what it is.0 -

They said they will refund but did not mention when. I might call them again to figure out.0 -

Chased aqua for refund. Different answers from different reps. Some said in a couple of days, some said after investigation finishing. I told them FCA rules that refund must be given no later than end of the following business day after dispute reported. One rep suggest me contact their manager who will come to office 6 days later. Shock!0
