I still have some thick books to read like Robert Harris and Conn Iggulden and they will go in due course but I know I am putting off getting used to my kindle, which is a voyage because I wanted the adaptive light.

I love Robert Harris! I've started getting his books on Aud1ble, after seeing his "Imperium" at the RSC. :)

After sending a load of books to the CS myself this week, my mum decided to have a clear out of her bookshelves. I said to bring them here first - result is that I've (temporarily) acquired around 18 books to read and then donate/ pass on (and there's still a box of around 30+ other books of hers to go to CS)

I have an ebay offer in my inbox for reduced selling fees - so will list some of my bigger (£ wise) items (Not sure the CS can make use of 6m of granite worktop! :D)

Kitchen refit and our old granite didn't fit new kitchen layout. A couple of the pieces could have been remodelled but it was actually essentially the same price to have all new! Shame, really, as it's in fab condition (the kitchen co couldn't believe its age and said they thought it was a couple of years old max) Still, someone can hopefully get a bargain as a result :)

floss, I am going to keep the molds, theyare nordicware and I am a nordic addict. That one is a cake and candy aluminium mold. Thinking about this spurred me on to make a bundt cake today and I am ready to go, as soon as the butter is soft enough

This week my kitchen has been treated to two new enamel pie plates and a new hand mixer, I will go through the cupboards and turf out at least 2 dishes or the like and the old hand mixer will go to the furniture re-cycling centre, they take in and renovate/repair all sorts of domestic things and sell them on, those in great need can get vouchers from the powers that be to help furnish their homes or replace broken stuff. (I have arthritic hands and could not eject the beaters from the old mixer, I tried all 5 models in the shop and this one is so easy, better still it is the offer of the month and reduced from £39.99 to £21.50:D:money:)

Four boxes of books and CDs to music magpie yesterday :T hopefully £50 odd will be winging its way to my account shortly. two bags of vinyl and the stuff that MM didn't want (about 3 cds) will be going to Oxfam books and records tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a big push to get the house finally finished sorting wise - to get the new study properly up and running (though we are now using it) and to get the remaining furniture advertised for rehoming..
I wanna be in the room where it happens

I'm hoping to start on selling again next week - music magpie and ziffit will definitely be my first port of call, though I think I've tried some of them there already.

The only KMing I'm doing is a bit sneaky ... I'm the one in my immediate family who's scanning all my mother's photos, and at the moment I've interrupted the usual schedule to do a huge great themed album she did in the 1990s, because I refuse to have an actual album in the house (way too big!) and my sister doesn't want the photos taken out of the album, so she's agreed to have the album herself. Win-win. I'm planning to take it over to her on Monday.
