i put in the wrong registration

i recieved a pcn because i put a 0 instead of a o in for my car registration, i still have the ticket and sent off an appeal, the appeal failed because they said not putting in the correct registration is a requirement to park there. they said i can appeal to popla but if unsuccesful i will have to pay £90 instead of £54. my question is should i just pay the 54 or do i stand a reasonable chance of winning an appeal

If you have not revealed who was driving in your appeal then edit your post to remove details of who was driving

If it goes to court this will surely get laughed out. Explain this to POPLA. If they won’t cancel then more fool them! No judge will support them, but you must get on the front foot and tell them.If you were not the driver write to the parking firm and tell them who was so they CANNOT hold you liable. The person who was driving the car is responsible so let them deal with it. Not you! Don’t let people with an agenda tell you otherwise.0

No, because that will lose at POPLA.
Other tactics will likely win at POPLA, so the OP just needs to read the NEWBIES thread.
Huge shame if the OP had gone and admitted they were the driver, when appealing, seeing as Smart would have cancelled the PCN at POPLA in 24 hours flat if the keeper had appealed at both stages without saying who parked.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is very small beer and many judges might consider it a waste of the court's time. The law does not concern itself with trifles.
