You gained access to a Halifax ac (I know in your name DoB etc) using Lloyds details/via a Lloyds ac? How did that work?

I don't know how it worked. I just tried to get the username by inputting my Halifax account details, and it worked. I was given the username, and from there on I was able to reset the details of the account.


I wish I could have taken the money, but unfortunately, but they spent or withdrew the money every time it was put into the account via PayPal.

It reflects badly on your parents not on you.

The bank will have records of the account opening e.g. if opened when you were a minor, of your mother adding herself as a payee etc. Those facts would support your narrative.

You may want to check your credit report (to see if it, or anything else, shows up)
