PCN ParkdirectUK - Who should appeal ( RegKeeper/Driver)

Hi
My wife is registered keeper of the car , however it was me who was
driving the car on that day and unfairly issues a PCN from ParkDirect UK Uxbridge.
Question :
1. Should my wife write a letter to ParkDirect UK and cancel the PCN on her name , give my(spouse details) ?? so that they can issue me a PCN direct.
2. Should I appeal telling that I was driving with the consent of my wife .
Please can you advise which is correct procedure.
Also if the PCN is rejected ( which I think it will be) , do I ( spouse) have a right to appeal with POPLA even though I am not registered keeper.
Thanks in advance.
Regards

They are IPC, not BPA, so there will be no POPLA, and no appeal will work because it's all skewed.
That is NOT to say anyone here will tell you to pay them re this cash cow location (or any location!).
If you would be the stronger person to defend any court claim (if it happens, they are not big players, and we win 99% of well defended cases here anyway) then she should follow what the PCN says about naming the driver - name and address.
If she is strong enough to defend any claim and ignore stupid debt letters all year, then leave it in her name and ignore the rogues.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
