Power line adapters..

Howdy!
My bedroom is an awkward shape and size. I’ve had a refig and rather than throw out my tv from my previous abode , ive decided to keep it . I also have a spare Apple TV which would go well with it.
Thought I’d lost Apple TV when stuff was up in storage so I got another. I found a couple of powerline adapters which I used when the signal from Bt broadband was not good.
Rather than buy an extra long lan cable and Ethernet cable it looks like a powerline adapter would be easier .
I’m just wondering if a) the powerline adapter eats much electricity
do I have to have it plugged in all the time ,as I won’t be watching that much in bed tbh.
Your thoughts
Thanks

Might be a label on them, but I think mine use 2 watts each, so literally peanuts to run0

Do you have better wifi now? If so then that might be an option if the signal strong enough in the bedroom.0 -
Thanks folks.
My Wi-fi has improved ( crossing fingers).
I didn’t think of that. I’ll mullet over.0 -
You don't have to leave it on, you can turn it off when you're not using it. But they don't use much powerChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
