Moved back to the UK - questions about credit report addresses

Hi,
About two years ago I moved away from the UK, and closed all my accounts. I know, probably very stupid of me to not at least keep my current account open, but I didn't think I would be back this quickly.
Now I'm back and I will soon be opening new accounts.
My question is about previous adresses. My credit report has two previous adresses on file, and is about to get a third. The only issue is that there's a two year gap between my current and previous UK address.
What should I do about this when applying for new accounts?
Should I say that I've lived at my previous address up until I moved in at my current one?
I'm thinking this is the only way for my old report to show up to the lender, which I presume any lender would want. And I would want that to, as it's a file in good standing, even though it only has closed/settled accounts on it.
Thank you!

When you apply, it may be good to go in to a branch in person, and explain that you have been abroad for two years and have had no financial transactions in that time.2.88 kWp System, SE Facing, 30 Degree Pitch, 12 x 240W Conergy Panels, Samil Solar River Inverter, Havant, Hampshire. Sure, I will do that opening a new current account, and will also ask them what they think I should do going forward.
It would be nice if I didn't have to visit branches forever, as many do not have any, and I kind of prefer staying at home0
