Hello, thank you for accepting my application to join the forum. Hope I am not repeating a previous query, but search didn't reveal similar question. My issue is that I am an Isle of Man resident and many providers exclude this area. If I inadvertently apply to a provider that does not cover the IOM, does this refusal also affect my rating?

They should decline you pre search. If not, then you will have unnecessary searches on your file.
