Fiscal Fast Day 72
Two in a row - wahoo - another NSD :j"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Fiscal Fast Day 73
We have really enjoyed this month's Co-op freezer deal but it finishes on 4 April so we decided to get a couple more of the deals to put into the freezer.
Whilst we were in the co-op we picked up a few RTCs but did not look at any other aisles as we are only buying what is on our shopping list.
I also bought some stamps which we are running low on.
So a LSD which I am very happy about.
Family arrive tonight and tomorrow so it will be interesting to see how we go with our Fiscal Fast!"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Just done my second shop of March and everything is now topped up and nothing needs buying until the middle of April I am away for two days over Easter and also the second week of April I am away for a week so food purse has been firmly shut with a clang
:):) and I have left over cash in it as well which will go into the bank's holiday account tomorrow.Very happy with my frugalling this year and also by eating from my freezer I am slowly getting it emptied out Still lots of stuff in there to use up at the moment but slowly getting some space in there

Fiscal Fast Day 74
With family down for Easter, it is REALLY hard not to spend anything as we are entertaining. Today we treated the family to fish and chips at our favourite chippy in Truro.
I think the entertainment budget is going to be hit really hard this weekend"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Fiscal Fast Day 75
A work day today so luckily it was a LSD.
At Tesco's (I was shopping for my lady) I picked up a leg of lamb on RTC along with 2 packs of pork mince which were also on RTC. As we have no mince in the freezer and I was waiting for a lamb joint to be reduced, I was VERY pleased with today's shop :j"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Fiscal Fast Day 76
Another entertainment day with swimming this morning and lunch out at one of our favourite beach side cafe.
I adore my family but it is absolutely killing my fiscal fast :rotfl:"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Fiscal Fast Day 77
The spending is starting to slow down, just a tad :rotfl:
Just a few bits from the supermarket for our Easter day and £6.50 at our local independent cancer charity shop."One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -

Fiscal Fast Day 79
Are you all chocolated out? :EasterBun
With family up, I took my Mum to St Austell for a day of sightseeing and shopping.
Oh dear - I REALLY fell off the wagon today
A high spending day, spending at
ASDA
Nile's Bakery
Cornwall Hospice Care
St Austell Brewery
Wilkinsons
TK Maxx
Time to slink off and ask for forgiveness :rotfl:
(It did feel good though)
