To all who have been told they are getting a smart meter fitted and don't want one because they think they will be spied upon, all you need to do to turn your smart meter into a dumb meter is to swap suppliers.


Easy.

    Easy.

    Just say 'No' as is your legal right. That said, it is increasingly likely that suppliers will just play the End of Life card and fit a smart meter anyway. Consumers still have the right to say 'No' to smart connectivity.
