Good point well made, the only CEL one that proceeded (that we know of thus far on here) is the one from someone in Brighton who posted today that the court decided to hear it on the papers without their knowledge. Brighton court...OMG.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Don't forget this is a 3rd in succession of set aside hearings - the set aside has not actually been granted yet!
The last General Order read like it was at defence stage but the judge is yet to officially grant the set aside so I suppose CEL have not been expected to attend as yet.0 -

Bad news I am afraid.
Set aside was dismissed. Judge disinterested in any of the defence. Said could not introduce new evidence in spite of asking for a full defence. All very weird.
D is distraught so have been unable to get much clarity on what actually happened. If I can extract any more information from him I will update on here.
Irrespective of the disappointing result, thank you all for the help and support. You cannot always win the "lottery" I suppose and if I am completely honest, I thought it would be a long shot from the off.0 -
