Surely if its 4 days before the end of term they could just call them in sick?
But don't do it from the airport so the school can clearly hear the tannoy announcements in the background2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

From what I read here and elsewhere, to be effective, the fines would need to be increased significantly.0 -

It’s a balance, isn’t it? If school were just preparation for work that would be terrible!
So not just preparation for work but for life.
Ironically when children are taken on term time holidays they are often sad to miss out on end of term activities like sports.
But that's not my main concern. I dislike the fact that children's own parents are teaching them poor attitudes like calling in sick when you're not.0
