I wanted to inquire an issue when trying to get monthly payments on directline: it mentions 'we cannot provide you monthly installments for this policy year.'

what does this mean? last time i tried i could get hold of monthly installments.

Most insurers now credit score both for rating purposes and for checking if they should ‘lend’ you the money yet to may for your insurance.

It’s mentioned in the T’s and C’s of the website which you agree to by using their website.

You don't have to give them your "credit score" details.

They will check you out themselves at a credit reference agency
