Hi all

I've got the above tv that's gone iffy.
I've got power as the standby light come on (it's a blue led).

No matter what I press, the same led just flashes and nothing else happens.
That's on the tv and on the remote.

I can't find the manual to do any troubleshooting.

I've taken the back off any can't see any obvious bad caps or anything else.
There doesn't seem to be any large amount's of dust and all the connections seem to be solidly in place.

Anyone any ideas?

I either get a static blue LED (i.e. standby) or a flashing blue LED and no other reaction from the tv

I'm not sure that the manual would be a great deal of help, this is what the manual for another model, the LCD3276HDF, says about No Power:

If your TV system has no power, please check the main power cable and connection to the
    mains socket outlet

    I've seen that one.
I can't find any sort of troubleshooting information for it either.

I'm guessing it might be the power board but I'm not 100%

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as I've figured out it's the main board not the power board I'm now looking for.
The power board is fine (I've checked all the outputs at the cable connectors and all seems good).

So, I need a mainboard for the above TV which has screen LC420WUN but I'm struggling to find one.

    Anyone any ideas?

Unfortunately not, I've seen that one but the connectors are a different layout.

I thought it was this one:-
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MB-FOR-ACOUSTIC-SOLUTIONS-LCD42761F1080P-TV-17MB35-1-20443075-SCREEN-LC420WUD/273101140102?hash=item3f9618b086:g:7~EAAOSw4A5YqGu~

as the layout is very similar (I can't say for definite that it's the same without getting one) but the seller says not.

There are a load of stickers on the board as follows:-
    White sticker:-
    10062583 20447808 146 42"
    26474215 LGWUN_SG(I think)B1 GB
    891S PIX

White sticker where the aerial would go in:-
    TDTC-G101D
    30063523
(There's something else on there but it's covered by some sort or QC sticker).

Green sticker near middle of board:-
    446909 74215
    UK8.10 HY L8
    10/04-8/20-99

There's a reference on the back of the board that says:-
    HannStar J MV-4
    94V-O 0906

There's also another sticker (slight buried under the chassis) that says:-
    LC420WUN
    (SB)(A1)

if you are not progressing with the TV, would suggest you take the power board out, and look for bulging capacitors, and if you can't find any, check the other boards out too.

Google is sort of a friend, and from the bottom up...
    https://archive.org/details/Panel_LG_Display_LC420WUN-SCA1_0
the above has to do with the lcd display and indicates expected voltages etc.

    94V-O 0906 hannstar
lots of polish/eastern european references that say something about computer and have usb pictures ??? Have a look yourself... match the image and possibly win a tv ;)

Green sticker board, because it say UK, makes me think decoder/ signal processing/logic

    Ariel amp/booster socket?

The rop one has no references that i can find with a quick search
