A credit card debt was sold to Apex. Now the account is being changed over to Cabot who actually own Apex. I've tried calling and asking, but they will not tell me if Apex is being dissolved - has anyone had a similar experience?

It doesn't matter. Just maintain payments to Cabot.0

that seems wise, yes.. i suppose the key question is why does it matter? -as long as the debt is yours, is being handled properly by the creditor, and you can afford to make the payments without being in too much trouble.0
