My garage felt roof is leaking. My usual roofer does not do felt roofing any more...due to high insurance costs with the burner used. He has offered GRP system..? is this more expensive?

Probably, but speak to him and find out.
I personally wouldn't entertain a felt roof anyway.0 -
What about rubber? That must be cheap, even I can fit it without any problems!Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

Epdm Rubber is easy to fit and you will never need to replace it ever again unlike felt which you will have to replace when it cracks and leaks again
