I have a large number of used HP cartridges: genuine HP 364XL, all 5 colours. I used to recycle them to a company which sent me large envelopes and gave a proportion of profits to the NSPCC, but they have stopped trading. I live near Louth, Lincs and also started giving them to a school, but they have stopped recycling. I don't know of anywhere else. Anyone know of anywhere that takes them? I would like them to benefit a charity or a school.
I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

You could request recycling envelopes from HP:

There's people selling them on Ebay. They may net you a couple of quid0

Thanks for the advice. I would like them to benefit a charity, specifically the NSPCC, but any good charity would be OK. The supermarket collection bins are not charity-based.. I tried the HP link some time ago, nothing happened after I requested envelopes.
I will keep looking.I think this job really needs

You could sell them on Ebay and make a donation to charity; I think if you specify in the listing that the money made from the sale is going to charity I think they may reduce their fees, not sure though.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
My local council tip / recycling centre has bins for recycling used ink cartridges, amongst many other things and gives proceeds to NSPCC !
I would check your local tip....0 -
