PCN Indigo

Hi, a PCN issued by Indigo at a hospital car park for not displaying a blue badge (have one but in such a panic over missing appointment forgot to display it). I have read the newbie section and believe the following to be correct but would like someone to confirm for me please. Have telephoned the hospital and told they cant do anything, need to appeal, he said to state what ive told him (as above). I disregard his advice and wait until day 26 where I appeal using the blue template, is this correct please?
Thanks in advance

Yes, appeal a windscreen ticket around day 26 using the BPA template in blue.

Do not reveal the driver's identity to anyone.

I don't believe the hospital. They will have employed the parking company so they can get this cancelled. Did you contact PALS?

In addition to the above, complain to your MP and ask them to confirm that they will be supporting the forthcoming private members bill on the unregulated private parking scam.

Please also help us by telling WHICH Magazine about a disabled motorist being hounded by scammers, especially since the Secretary of State for Health (Jeremy Hunt) said several years ago that NHS parking should be free.

Day 26 and just sending in the appeal. Not sure which box to tick. (1) A valid ticket was purchased (which it was, didnt realise parking was free with a blue badge as in the home town you also have to pay to use a disabled slot) (2) Payment was made or (3) Blue badge was displayed (even though it had been forgotten) can I ask which one you think should be used? Also it wont let me get any further without naming the driver??

You can tick any box you like, it doesn’t matter. In the box that asks for the drivers name just put “Not Telling”.

It is a scam, how can your unforgiveable negligence have cost them £100?

Were this to get to court, I am positive a judge would throw it out and award you your costs. Refer them to Arkell v Pressdram

Yes - but only if that means the POPLA code is still in date (lasts only a month, do NOT miss it).

Start preparing your POPLA appeal, copy another one with no NTK, search the forum or look at POPLA Decisions (but of course not reading that sticky thread from the front, which is old stuff!). Find others with no NTK as an argument, we have loads like this.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you will search now. The rejection came on day 44 so there are 28 days from that date so should be enough time to get it in if no NTK
