....or he could just go straight to the FOS, as that's where the FCA will tell him to go, as per https://www.fca.org.uk/about/complain-about-regulators:

You're right, she's wrong, on that issue, but obviously worth rechecking the offer Ts & Cs to be completely sure of your ground before going back to them....

Edit: seeing your edit, if you're saying you had a separate offer from them that overrode the published requirement to have £1500 in the account by 16 March then you'll obviously need to be able to bring this into play.

    Does he know this yet?

He's got his £125 and presumably would get a compensatory payment if [STRIKE]you[/STRIKE] he asked, so what more do you think the [STRIKE]FCA[/STRIKE] FOS would give him?

exactly the same response i got from the adviser that called me just now 125 by the 27th and 30 pounds in compensation today.

i think i could have got more though ! she asked had the loss of the bonus impacted me in any way i truthfully said no as it wasn't my main bank if i had layed it on it abit thick about bills being unpayed she may have increased it to 50 or more but just thats my hunch.

Hopefully no one is in that situation but if you are maybe tell the CS about that and they may give you more compensation.

I've just gave the customer service a call to see where I'm at with the switch and when the 125 would be paid, was told by the woman that I don't meet the criteria because apparently 1,500 needs to be paid in every month? (had no idea about this, was certain that it was just a 1500 one-off deposit)

    * I signed up for the switch a couple of months back and binned it off because I didn't reach the criteria in time - got an email the other day saying they'd extended it. I get paid around 1200 4 weekly so I've had near enough 2500 deposited since March

Would have argued the toss but I was only on a short break in work - anybody else had any trouble of this kind?

Not £1500/month, just one payment of £1500.

My £125 arrived at some point this afternoon (wasn’t in this morning). They are clearly working though them.
  • Just looked on my account and the £125 landed in my account some time this afternoon :D

After the husband got £50 of compensation, they offered me a measly £15.

I'll take it as an additional £65 between us isn't a bad deal.
