The fact that NatWest seem to be processing the credits manually is a good enough reason not to stay with them. It should have been a simple bit of technology to automate the process.

Its the shareholders I feel sorry for. :(
  • These lucky customers are in for big compensation if they have to wait until well into next week. Wish I was one of them...

I didn't get free money! I demand compensation!

    Was the deadline today?

Expecting 4 across my family. None arrived.

Has anyone spoken with NatWest yet?

It should be there by now, according to the terms of the offer:

If you meet the eligibility criteria for this offer, we’ll pay £125 into your eligible account by 13 April 2018, .....

    The deadline wasn't today.

    The deadline is today.

Just spoke to the switching team. Apparently, there has been a significant bank error with regards to paying people on time and there has been a high volume of calls about people not receiving the payment. The woman I spoke to said that it is now 3 to 5 business days for the issue to be sorted.
If this is true, then someone needs to tell the people running their twitter account. Just an hour ago they replied to a tweet by saying
all switch bonuses will be paid today if criteria met

No, it is still 13th April, and they therefore still have time to meet the deadline.

Whilst there are still five hours left, and the money may go through literally at the last second, I do wonder if it was ever wise for them to leave it so late and therefore at a point which wouldn't allow any slack in the system in case something goes wrong or there's a delay in their systems.

Agreed. Worth remembering that it was this banking group's incompetence that almost destroyed the UK economy in 2008.
