Buying in a growing UK and world economy

Bit of a dilemma for some us this coming year. The World and uk economy is now picking up pace against the debacle that is the Brexit and tragedy of losing some eastern Europeans. Not only were they the most reliable and law abiding tenants I ever had, the ones I employed were outstanding workers and for less pay.
The question is, should I buy more properties this year in what is going to be a rising housing market soon when properties are going to be a little harder to rent out, bare in mind I will not go near a HB British tenant with a proverbial barge poll

Never considered buying eastern European properties? You shouldnt get many British housing benefit claimants for them.0

No.. why would I want to do that when I have the most profitable BTL market on the planet on my doorstep with desperate professionals willing to pay top notch0

Sorry from your OP i thought you only wanted to rent to and employ eastern europeans. The best place to do that would be eastern europe.
Forgive me, im clearly not the business extraordinaire that you are but does your 2nd comment not tell you what to do with your first comment?
Maybe its me being thick :rotfl:0 -
Just spend it and help the economy recover faster0

We should invent AI that determines how much we should spend so that by the time we die or AI takes over (whichever is sooner) nothing is leftover. Optimise spending so that 0 goes to the government and maximizing fun over the course of a life. Take into account the likelihood of AI replacing the need for capital.0 -

I find it ironic that you clearly think yourself as quite clever yet you've evidently failed to realise that a large proportion of people voted to leave the EU to stop people like yourself from paying non-British citizens less money and thus undercutting and pricing out British workers.0 -

Hardly surprisng that the UK's peasants decided to revolt against their feudal masters.0 -

You really want to read up on the subject of natural selection. Too many British people have become professional complainers and full of self entitlement, that's why so many voted Brexit I think. Eastern Europeans are wiling to work 50 hours plus without complaint and long faces, they are also even willing to house share, two families is not uncommon in one home, I have even seen three Polish families sharing and all of them working to pay the bills and of course the rent, not mine I must add.
The simple fact is rather than the British complaining like what I heard on the radio today about welfare payments being sent to them late or even stopped, they are just going to have to make cut backs, share or even try something radical like work and pay the rent with several friends to account for lowering wages.
And what you said about Brexit, do you really think that is going to happen. Pandora's box has now been opened, there is no way we are going to give up on this cheap quality labour which also plays a big part in keeping a healthy housing market.0 -
Borrowing an idea from Bismarck, I think the Scots and the Polish should swap countries.
The Polish would create a vibrant economy, the Scots would get to rejoin the EU, and the English taxpayer would be quids in.0 -

Exactly - if these people got a job (not hard, we have full employment) they wouldn't have to worry about their Giro being late, would they?0
