Legal cover

Is it necessary to take out legal cover on every policy. I have it on car insurance and 2 different landlord insurance policies. Is there not one legal cover policy that would cover them all?

    It is the law to have car insurance and if you have a mortgage, they may stipulate that you have buildings insurance in the T&Cs.

    There quite possibly is a policy that covers all types but invariably, you will be better off having individual policies as different providers will be able to offer better rates.

    This doesn't answer the OP's question at all.

    OP, you are paying for legal cover in relation to each of those insurances. Should you need legal support with a motoring issue, for instance, the legal cover on your landlord's insurance would not cover you.
