Beware, 70% off in store is yellow stickered - meaning no returns.

The other give-away is .99 pricing. M&S non-food merchandise generally sells in pounds / 50p endings. If it ends in a 9, you can forget it.

Anyone struggling to check out? Website keeps timing out when I go to my bag - can't tell if it's just my computer or not.

Thanks, just got maximum value from my Christmas M&S gift cards. Only shop at M&S when it's 70% or more off. Makes more sense than buying second hand!

Items are cheaper in-store. One example - wrapping paper £1.29 on the site, 59p in-store. They are desperate to clear the stock!

Another example, maternity bras that are full price £32.50 for 2 on the website were £9.99 in-store. Even less than the same product in an alternative colour way on-line, where they were £11.99.

Pure cotton ladies tartan PJs £10.50 online, £8.50 in-store.

I didn't know this, thank you.

I bought a pair of boots in the sale last night. Tried them on again last night and noticed that the insoles have a large Clarks logo on them. I know M&S sell some branded beauty and food products so I checked the attached label but that just says M&S. Not sure if this is an oversight by Clarks - who must have made them - or if it's usual practice now.

Had another look in the food hall to get some more of the reduced dried fruit and they had masses of them, so v pleased :) (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/73700026#Comment_73700026)

Yeah I think you can get better bargains at the end of the sale than you can in M&S outlet stores too, many a time I've bought an end of sale bargain and then seen it in their outlet stores later in the year more expensive than what I paid.
