Incidentally, are you aware of any reason why the price of Patient Capital recovered at the end of the week?

Yesterday, Woodford received a boost when Autolus, a London-based cancer-drug maker, made him £26million after listing in New York.

After the market closed in London, Autolus began trading on Nasdaq at the increased price of $27.

This pumped up its value by a further $61.5million, meaning Patient Capital Trust could rise even further on Monday.

Given that Autolus accounts for 4.42% of WPCT's holdings, it's float pricing at the top end of expectation doesn't explain the IT's 7.19% rise yesterday. Looking at the discount does however explain it. Yesterday WPCT's NAV increased by 1.3% and the discount reduced from c.12% to c.6%. Were these latent Woodford acolytes waiting for a glimmer of good news before piling in?

More likely market makers adjusting prices on the back of the news.
