I'm afraid I'm not of the "throw !!!! at the wall and hope some of it sticks" school, and I don't agree that this approach "works" in practice. Exactly how many uninformed judges do you think there are out there, and what makes you think that all the other judges don't react negatively to palpable nonsense, even when naively advanced by "litigants in person"? Winning the DJ lottery cannot be a good assumption.

In any case, GPEOL was the law until Beavis, not some made-up nonsense from the FMOTL.

Unless it’s tested, we’ll never know - no one is going to have their head chopped off if it doesn’t fly. A single-point defence would obviously shine an immediate light on it, but usual forum advice rarely ever suggests a single point appeal or defence, so we may have to wait.

But I’m sure ‘informed’ judges will sooner or later tell us - one way or the other.

Nothing I’ve ever written on this (or other) forum has any FMOTL genesis.
