This came through on one of my feeds this morning, I'm not sure if it should be here or on the charity board, I'll leave that for a bg to decide.
"The Great British Spring Clean is a campaign with a simple aim: to bring people across the country together to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and beaches.
On the weekend of 2 - 4 March 2018, we want to inspire 500,000 people to get outdoors, get active and help clear up the rubbish that lies around us. Join our growing army of #LitterHeroes who have had enough of other people’s litter and are willing to do something about it.
Together we can make a difference and clean up the environment on our doorstep."

I'll be helping beach clean that weekend with my kids.
Have you done one of these before? They're a total win-win. You get to help tidy up your home town/village/countryside, get exercise and fresh air, teach your kids a valuable lesson, meet other like-minded locals and make friends and get a huge sense of pride, achievement and happiness.:):)

I have done a beach clean and a river clean before but never a street clean.
I may actually go to an area about 200 yards away and make a start cleaning up there, my own street is quite good but the other area is on a school route and gets very little attention from the council street cleaner0 -
Sounds like a great place to start.
Hopefully other locals will see you and either join or start doing it themselves too at some point!Could you do with a Money Makeover?
