Highview parking charge letter!!

Hi, the keeper received a charge notice from highview parking today. The driver shopped at the Beacon Retail park Bletchley Milton Keynes for 3hrs31mins, when they were apparently only allowed 3hrs. The driver was with their daughter and 1yr old granddaughter. The driver shops there regularly as there is a number of shops they enjoy and a Gregg's for a much needed coffee in-between!! Tbh the driver has never taken any notice of parking charge signs so can't say where they are or how clear they are to read. The driver is gutted to have this charge as they are usually a careful driver/parker( NEVER PARKED IN DISABLED OR MOTHER/BABY BAYS). The keeper would love to ignore this charge but is a little fearful of any additional charges or court fines. Could anybody SIMPLY(as I need it explained simply) advise them on how to proceed?

follow the procedure in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread , post #1 for now and use the blue text template with no alterations
edit your last post to remove any hint of who was driving on the day
THE DRIVER drove on that day (so THE DRIVER shopped and only had 3 hours)
THE KEEPER is the person who has received this pcn
keep it that way from now on
if HV reject your appeal , you will have the option of a popla appeal , dealt with in post #3 of that NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread
also complain to the landowner and get it cancelled
in future , read the signs , otherwise you will receive a lot more of these , in retail parks , supermarkets , hospitals , doctors surgeries , airports , railway stations ,0 -
Thank you so much for your helpful advice!0

Send the blue text template from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 (do not add or change anything) and HV will cancel. The fastest HV cancellation was within 2 hours - go beat it.Tbh the driver has never taken any notice of parking charge signs so can't say where they are or how clear they are to read. The keeper would love to ignore this charge but is a little fearful of any additional charges or court fines.Could anybody SIMPLY(as I need it explained simply) advise them on how to proceed?
Luckily, as I’ve said, it’s only Highview. Simple enough? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It's Highview! Don't overthink it. Easy peasy, I love their ones.
You could have searched the forum for the word 'Highview' and discovered the fun game of trying to beat the 2 hour record (recently beaten down to 1.5 hours I think) whereby Highview skedaddle when they see the template appeal from the NEWBIES thread.
We get posters to vie with each other to submit the forum appeal in working hours and count the minutes until Highview give up! Join in...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
