Having a dishwasher delivered tomorrow.
It turns out it’s not likely to be fitted ie be in use within 30 days of delivery. I’ve been told it will be boxed so can go under the stairs but am worried it might have been delivered damaged or DOA.
What’s the best way to protect the recipients against this and all the potential hassle it could cause X weeks down the line?
Thanks

If nothing else, open the box and have a good look. You should be able to spot any damage before anyone attempts to install it.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Who ever signs the delivery note should also add a note to state signing for delivery only, item unexamined.0
