I went last November and May this year and picked up some great bargains!

There were some differences as to what was on sale at each event so let's see what happens at this one.

I've just moved to the area so will definitely be going along to see what's there. In your opinion is it best to go first thing or later on?Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680

unfortunately the qulaity of le creuset stuff is garbage....we bought a griddle, 6 pans/lids and other stuff and it last 4 months and that was limited use too.....same with tefal pans that lasted 4 months before the poisonous non stick stuff start to come off......all sent back to the manufacturers for replacements
so we are back to the vision glassware stuff - 30 years old, glass and still going strong (just dont drop it!:D )Stevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -
I think le creuset provides life time guarteen for the cast iron product. I had one for 3 yrs now, never had a problem.
and i think you have to buy it in person.0 -
Andover is only 20 minutes away from me so i'm hoping to get there. really want a casserole dish; think it's called a buffet casserole? normally retails at £100+ !!!0

My parents had the full set of orange cast-iron Le Creuset cookware for a very long time with no problems. We used to go on family camping holidays in France/Spain so they used to pickup more bits in France as it was quite a lot cheaper there!0

Don't know about Le Creuset, but I definitely agree with you about Tefal non-stick pans, they are totally rubbish after a short while.0 -
I've had Le Creuset casserole dishes for years and they are fantastic. Never had any problems at all with them. My Mum has used them for over 20 years and they still look as good as new.0

I've had my Le Creuset pans for about 12 years now. Absolutely superb. My wife finds them too heavy so she uses a cheap Ikea one! I can't bring myself to part with them though.0

Le creuset products are some of the best I've used and I'm a trained chef some I've some experience on the matter. I would also point out that I would never use non-stick anything because you do risk the lining coming off and it's just not necessary with good quality equipment. My possible exception to this rule is the Anolon Meyer range of anodised aluminium cookware which I've been putting through it's paces with good results. I would also generally avoid using aluminium cookeware.0
