Easyjet baggage charges booked pre October

I booked a flight to Prague, last July, flyng out next week. I'd assumed with their new charges, that i'd have to pay for checked in baggage. However, when I go to change it it, it comes up with this -
When I try and add, it says two bags already checked in!
Am I being dim (probably) and have I missed something?
2 Hold bag(s) per flight between all passengers combined
The 2 passenger(s) in this booking may check in a combined total of 2 hold bag(s). The 20kg hold bag weight allowance (per passenger) does not increase with the addition of further hold bags.
If you wish to add hold bags to your booking, you can add the relevant charges to your booking.

If you had already booked before the new baggage charges were announced, you are able to check in 1 piece of hold baggage per person, weight limit 20 kg, as part of your booking with nothing further to pay. This space has been intentionally left blank0

Cheers Glenn. There was a discussion (on this forum) when it was announced. I'd got the impression that everybody would have to pay the charge, even those who'd booked prior to the announcement. Many thanks!0

There were ambiguous statements on their web site when this was announced. The baggage costs section said everyone would have to pay irrespective of when they booked. The press release said if you had booked before the announcement you wouldn't have to pay. I've emailed their customer service a couple of times to request clarification but never had a reply.0

Not sure when announced or the policy commenced, but I booked with EasyJet on 14 Sept and flght was on 16 Sept and my baggage allowance was a single piece of handbaggage as heavy as you liked as long as you could stuff all of it in the one bag within the stated dimensions (56 x 45 x 25 cm from memory) and could lift it unaided in to the overhead locker (normal liquid/gel rules apply). In addition, one checked piece of baggage weighing no more than 20kg.
As I say that was included in the ticket price and not paid as extra.0
