What can I do with panetone?

  • Panetones lovely if dipped into some red wine and eaten, a great way of getting rid of some yucky red wine too....
    Also spread it with nutella/choc spread.
    The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

    could you slice it and freeze it, so you can eat it throughout the year, rather than having to get rid of it in one fell swoop?

    after reading this thread i just had to go out and buy a panetone - so much for money saving!

    Tesco have panetone for £3.48 for 500g

    Wilkinsons (?!?) have panetone 908g for £1 (self edge label) but went through the till at £1.99

    the packaging inside was idenitical and i would swear they were made by the same company.....
