TSB Classic Plus Direct Debits?

Hi guys,
I'm just having a look at the accounts I've got in relation to Tescos ending the direct debit feature. I've got the TSB's Classic Plus account which pays 3%, but I'm not sure whether it still requires DD's?
Looking at the T&Cs, I read that its for new accounts opened after 1 March 2017 that need DD's in order to get the £5 cashback, my account was opened before that, so am I right in thinking that I don't need DD's to still get the 3%?


I know its not much every month, "but every helps...!!"

If all you're after is the 3% then all you need to do is pay in £500 a month.
