i had a lot of problems with avon too, with items missing from every order, even though i was charged for them, numerous phone calls trying to chase up missing products, too much time and stress for very little reward.enjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0

Betterware are bad for this
If you put a catalogue through my door then dont expect it back
I can absolutely assure you that there are many things far worse than this.
Is it really that much of an inconvenience for you to just put the catalogue back outside your door if you are not interested in their products. These people are trying to earn a living for themselves and by being so petty, you are effectively taking money out of their pocket as they have to pay to replace them. Or would you rather they were on the dole spending your hard-earned tax dollar !:rolleyes:0 -
all you have to do is leave a note with your address on stating you do not want any more books ,not rocket science !but i guess little things please little minds !no im not a rep i order via the web when they have the free delivery offer on.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. i had a nightmare as an avon rep. area was good BUT another rep was also delivering to some of the houses on my patch. i spent hours walking, and many evenings just to go out to get a couple of books as people were out when i called back, then people aren't in when you go to deliver their order, or they dont have any money to pay for what they ordered so you end up sending it back. you have to buy your books, all your smaples you have to buy. and i left cos they completly messed up my biggest order i had, delivering someone elses orders, after they had phoned me and arranged to deliver to me at 7am at or business premises, didnt show, they eventually delivered that afternoon to some guy down the road, but he worked evenings so i couldnt get my order till the next day which was day before xmas eve!. i then had to go abd tell all my customers that what they ordered had not been sent by avon just a complete NIGHTMARE!! so that month i spent hours delivering, ordering, walking, freesing cold and earnt NOTHING!!!!!
needless to say i quit!!
i know i'm rambling but it still makes me angry now!!14.05.2015 22106.60

Thank you everyone for your advice but eh... sounds too risky and too much work to be honest, will stick to just ordering from the website.
A large part of what has put me off is the Avon woman keeps knocking/ringing even though I've asked her not to and said that I'm not interested - she seems to ring once every couple of days to try and talk, despite my 'thank you, but no thank you...'0
