Renault Megane 2017

I bought a Megane new in the summer last year, and have a lot of niggling problems, some seem to be 'software bugs' that may be fixed soon, and others I am not sure. Just wondering if there are any other frustrated Megane owners out there?
I have made complaints to Renault UK - but they show no interest, and will admit nothing. I have asked if there is a proper customer service where they answer questions about how the car is supposed to 'behave' and they just keep referring me back to dealership.
the website says the car is hands-free, but it is impossible to control the fan hands free, you have to use a screen all the time (there are no 'knobs'), it is quite dangerous at times.

I had a Renault Megane from new (though it was back in 07).
Had numerous problems from new, right up until I got rid of it (after 10 years and 60,000 odd miles).
The electrics and cabling were poorly designed and implemented and I vowed never ever to have another Renault ever!
In fact I've since extended that, to never having another French car, full stop!
Good luck!:beer:0 -

I see knobs and buttons, which i assume control the heating system, what you have is typical of a lot of new cars, all systems going through the entertainment system, I had an Astra on loan a couple of months ago which was similar.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
I have a Captur that I bought new 3 years ago. I've had no serious problems with it, just a couple of annoying "features".
The electronics (of which there are a lot) all work very well, although the wipers are not as clever as they need to be.0 -
this is my 3rd Megane, my last one I loved. So have no problems until now.
The heater has an auto button that heats your feet and the windscreen (or cools) but not the back of the car, it has a max button but never goes to max, a temperature knob, and that is it all other controls on the screen, meaning you keep taking your eyes off the road to make adjustments. Then to get back to maps, you have to press home button.Carolyn0 -
Renault have offered me a £200 voucher towards an MOT, Brakes and tyres...handy on a brand new car...I even bought a service package....
Not impressed - would def urge anyone to have a really good test drive in the model that they are going to purchase before committing and make sure you check out the fan controls, the map updates, traffic announcements and anything they feel is important and get it in writing what they are being offered.
You maybe interested in reading some of these - I have put the links to the reviews:
