S&S Isa on HL Charges

Options
I am considering converting my HL S&S Isa from funds to ETF's does anyone know if the £45 fee cap applies to the wrapper or the individual shares/ETFs.

If I have 10x ETFs, will I be charged just £45 or 10x£45 i.e £450?

It's charged at the account level not on each individual ETF. The 0.45% fee on all your ETF holdings will be capped at £45

Just remember to factor in any trade costs but yes sounds sensible if you can find equivalent ETFs to your current investments. There are still cheaper platforms to trade and hold an ETF ISA such a iWeb and Jarvis X-O.

One thing to watch with ETFs is that the OCF is often more than than their fund equivalent - particularly with index trackers.

That's Great - thanks for that - :) I originally assumed it was based on the platform, then looked again at their costings on line, thought it was a bit ambiguous and started to panic.
