BA only release reward flights around 355 days before departure, so you're too soon for June 2019. I'm not sure about partner airlines.

Thanks. I realise it's too early for June '19. I put in lots of random dates, including a few for this June/July just to give me an idea of what kind of availability there was.

Can't believe that there's no direct flight from any European airport to Bangkok'-or maybe ther's just no award availability..

Have you considered getting a BAPP Amex card? If comes with an annual fee of £195, but when you spend £10000 you get a two for one voucher, which makes Club World great value.

BA have cheaper Avios fares on off peak dates. No off peak redemptions on One World partners.

    And check out https://www.headforpoints.com

Loads of great info on there[/QUOTE

Yes I have. I've not long cancelled my gold card. Think I need to wait six months before I apply for this one.

    An example from Head for points;

"... if you try to book an Iberia Madrid to New York flight on ba.com using BA Avios, it will charge you £368 of taxes! This is for the SAME Iberia flight which costs only £159 of tax on iberia.com using Iberia Avios."

Absoloutly no justification for this! Out of interest, has anyone booked North America/ Canada with Aer Lingus using BA Avios recently starting from Dublin?

Just wondering if the taxes are still really low.

Finnair have regular flights from Helsinki to Bangkok but it's a popular route due to the lower taxes compared to the UK (especially for business class fares).

I think they're the only Oneworld member apart from BA who fly direct to Thailand from Europe.

I'm not surprised Ba.com is showing more.

Btw OW airline RJ operates Amman to Bangkok.

The American Airlines website can show you some of the options that might be available using Avios. Make sure you tick the Redeem Miles box. On random dates in June/July, it shows me options for 2travellers on BA/Finnair/ Roal Jordanian.

But you may need to call up BA to book these routes.

The Gold card and the BA cards are different. You can have both at the same time and get the same-up bonus for both as well.

Thanks. Do I have to have an AA account to search? For instance, for US and Canada Aer Lingus reward availability, I use United airlines to search, but I don't need to have an account.

I eventually found some for December,- so at least I know they do exist. I think it's just like you say, it' s a very popular route.
