Credit files....now I’m confused

I’ve subscribed to Experian for both myself and my partner as we are trying to improve our credit ratings and I thought it would be interesting to see what they say. Also get the free reports from Noddle, which are really low compared to the Experian ones.....
My question really is, is there any point in subscribing, as reading this forum it seems they are all pretty meaningless anyway!

Scores and ratings are meaningless.
Don’t pay for anything.
All that matters is your history and the data on your files0 -

Perhaps you don't know that Experian scores out of 1000 and Noddle out of 700 and something?0 -
