Me and Partner got married 27.12.2017. we have quickly applied for the £230 marriage allowance. he earns below 45k and i dont pay tax. How does this £230 get paid... i am confused!? is it a lump sum payment every April? if not then how does this even work out? does he get 11,300 (or whatever it is) off his tax bill? sorry confused!
